Overview
Use the Management Companies setup to create and maintain property manager records and their associated management company information.
Management company records can be selected when configuring property management fees.
To access the setup, go to Setup > Management Companies.
Management Companies List
The list displays the management company records available for the company.
From the list, you can:

Select Create to create a management company record.

Select an existing record to view or edit it.

Delete a record when it is not being used in a property management-fee configuration.
Users need the appropriate setup permission to create or edit management company records.
Creating a Management Company
Select Create from the Management Companies list.
The form is titled Management Company and includes one General section.
Management Information
Complete the following fields:

Manager Name: Enter the property manager’s name. This field is required.

Management Company: Enter the associated management company name, when applicable.

Entity Name: Select the associated Intacct entity, when applicable.
Address Information
Enter the management company’s address, when applicable:

Address 1: Enter the primary street address. This field can contain up to 30 characters.

Address 2: Enter additional address information. This field can contain up to 30 characters.

Country: Select the country. This field is required.

City: Enter the city.
-
State: Select the state or province. Available values depend on the selected country.

Zip/Postal Code: Enter the postal code using the format required for the selected country.

Primary Phone: Enter the management company’s phone number, when applicable.
Saving the Record
Review the required fields and select Save.
The management company record is saved in SIRE and becomes available for selection in property management-fee configurations.
If the record is already used in a property management-fee configuration, it cannot be deleted until it is no longer in use.

Where Do I Create a Management Company?
Go to Setup > Management Companies and select Create.
What Is the Difference Between Manager Name and Management Company?
Manager Name identifies the property manager. Management Company identifies the company associated with that manager.
Is a Management Company Name Required?
No. Manager Name, Country and State are required. Management Company is optional.
Can I Associate a Management Company with an Entity?
Yes. Select an Entity Name when the record should be associated with an Intacct entity.
Can I Delete a Management Company Record?
You can delete a record only when it is not used in a property management-fee configuration.
