Adding Tenants

When adding a Tenant to Sage Intacct Real Estate, there are two methods. The first method is to add the tenant into the Accounts Receivable module of Sage Intacct and check the tenant box. The second option is to add the tenant directly to Sage Intacct Real Estate and have the SIRE database send the tenant back to the Accounts Receivable module. The recommended workflow is to add Tenants to Accounts Receivable. This ensures the maximum amount of data can be entered at the time of tenant creation.

Adding a Tenant through Accounts Receivable

  1. Navigate to Tenants in Accounts Receivable

    1. Applications - Accounts Receivable – Tenants

  1. Add a Tenant

    1. Click Add

  1. Complete Required Fields

    1. ID

      1. This field is only required if Tenant Auto Numbering Not Turned on.

    2. Name

    3. Tenant Checkbox

      1. This box must be checked for this Tenant to be available in the Real Estate Module

    4. Print as

      1. This field will automatically populate with the information entered into the Name field.

  1. Add additional information.

    1. Complete the remaining fields and tabs with all applicable information.

c. Save new Tenant

d. Click Save

  1. Navigate to the Real Estate Module

    1. Main Menu – Setup – Tenants

    2. Click Add

    1. Name

    2. Email

    3. Mailing Address

      1. Address 1

      2. City

      3. Country

      4. State

      5. Zip/Postal Code

  2. Click Save
