Interest rates are configured through the Setup menu in the SIRE app.
Interest Types Configuration
Interest types are managed under My Preferences:

This section lists all available Interest Types.

You can add new Interest Types using the Add button.

Only the Interest Types selected in My Preferences will be displayed on the Interest Rate screen.
Adding an Interest Type
To add a new Interest Type:

Click the Add button.

Only Interest Types enabled in My Preferences can be created.

Complete the required fields in the form.
✏️ Editing an Interest Rate
To edit an existing Interest Type:

Click the three-dot menu next to the type you want to edit.

Select Edit to:

Add new rate periods.

Modify existing rates.

Viewing an Interest Rate

Selecting View from the three-dot menu will open the Interest Type in read-only mode.

No edits or updates can be made in this mode.
How It Works
When interest is accrued on a deposit, the system reads the Interest Type selected in the Interest Rate setup. Based on this, the correct Interest Rate is applied according to the period the deposit has been held.
