Other Receipts in Management Fees

Overview

Other Receipts allows eligible non-invoice cash receipts to be included in Management Fee calculations when using payment-based formulas.

This ensures that qualifying receipts (not tied to customer invoices) contribute to the same fee basis as invoice payments.

In the Management Fee preview, Other Receipts:

  • Are grouped by Item ID

  • Show a total per item

  • Display detailed receipt lines

  • Link back to the original Intacct transaction when available

Only receipts that meet specific formula, property, and period criteria are included.

Where You See Other Receipts

Other Receipts appear in the Management Fee Journal Preview / Details.

They are shown together with invoice-based items and follow the same layout:

  • Grouped by Item

  • Totals per item

  • Line-level transaction detail

How Other Receipts Are Selected

A receipt is included only if all conditions below are met:

  1. Management Fee Formula is Payment-Based

    • All Payments

    • Subject Management Fees Payments

    • Non-Subject Management Fees Payments

  2. “Include Other Receipts” is Enabled

    • If this toggle is off, no receipts are included.

  3. Item Matches the Formula Rules

    • For All Payments → all items eligible

    • For Subject / Non-Subject → only items matching GPR rules

  4. Receipt Date Falls in the Calculation Period

  5. Posting Dimensions Match the Property

    • Location must match

    • Department must match when posting by entity

  6. Receipt Has No Customer Dimension

    • Customer-coded receipts are excluded

User Actions

1️⃣ Enable or Disable Other Receipts

Turn on Include Other Receipts to include eligible receipts in fee calculations. Turn off to exclude them entirely.

2️⃣ Review Receipts in the Journal Preview

Check:

  • Receipt dates

  • Receipt numbers

  • Amounts

  • Item grouping totals

  • Intacct links

3️⃣ Open the Intacct Record

Use the link to verify transaction details or investigate discrepancies.

Common Scenarios

“Include Other Receipts” is Unavailable

Cause: Non-payment formula selected
Fix: Switch to a payment-based formula

No Other Receipts Appear

Check:

  1. Toggle is enabled

  2. Formula is payment-based

  3. Dates are in period

  4. Item matches GPR logic

  5. Posting location/department matches

  6. Receipt has no customer dimension

Amount Looks Wrong

Amounts come directly from the receipt line transaction amount.
Use the Intacct link to verify source values.
