This new feature gives the User the ability to choose, the Move In Date on each unit and not only on the Lease as we use to have, for Leases with multiple Units, each Unit can have a different Move In Date.
Each Unit that the User adds will have the Move In Date enabled to populate and mandatory, this Unit Move In Dates, do not affect the Lease Move In Date that will be completed as today.
Note: when this new feature was deployed, for the existing Units, we migrated the Lease Move In date to the Unit Move In Date, the User has the ability to go to each Lease and update this date if needed.
The Unit Move In Date is used for Prorate charges on Reconcile Charges, Escalation, Unit Occupancy, and Reporting.
