Overview
The due date of invoices will now be determined based on the due term set for the tenant. This ensures consistency and accuracy in invoice processing.
Functionality
When a user generates an invoice, the system will verify whether the tenant has a due term specified in the invoicing details section.
-
If the tenant has a due term set, the due date will be adjusted by adding the specified number of days from the due term to the invoice date.
-
If the tenant does not have a due term set, the invoice due date will default to the transaction date, meaning both dates will be the same.
Affected Features
This behavior will apply to invoice creation in the following areas:
-
Recurring Charges
-
Tenant Chargeback
-
Late Charges
-
Deposits
-
Recoveries
-
Percentage Rent
This update ensures that due dates are managed according to tenant-specific terms, improving accuracy and flexibility in financial transactions.
