Company Email Verification

The Company Email setting allows users to verify an email address and use it as the sender when SIRE sends tenant communications for:

• Lease Clauses

• Lease Insurance

• Property Insurance

Verification is optional, but a verified company email is recommended when using Custom Notification Templates.

Accessing Company Email

Go to Company > Configuration and locate the Company Email field.

When no company email has been configured, the first visit to the Configuration page displays an informational screen explaining that an email address can be added.

No action buttons are available on this informational screen. The company configuration settings remain available from the Configuration page.

Starting Email Verification

To add and verify a company email:

• Enter an email address with a valid format in the Company Email field.

• Select Save.

SIRE sends a verification email to the address entered. The company email status changes to Pending.

The Resend Verification button is available while verification is pending. Use it when the address was entered incorrectly or the verification email needs to be sent again.

The company email status can display:

• Unverified

• Pending

• Verified

• Failed

Confirming The Email Address

Open the verification email and select the verification link.

After the link is processed:

• SIRE redirects you to a confirmation modal.

• The company email status changes to Verified.

The verified address can then be used as the sender for supported tenant communications.

Verification Link Expiration

The verification link is valid for 24 hours.

If the link is not used within that period:

• The link expires.

• SIRE displays an expired-link message.

• You can use Resend Verification to send a new verification email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Company Email Verification Required?

No. Adding and verifying a company email is not required to use Custom Notification Templates. However, verification is recommended so tenant communications can be sent from a trusted company address.

Which Communications Use The Verified Email?

The verified company email can be used for tenant communications generated from Lease Clauses, Lease Insurance, and Property Insurance.

Can I Resend The Verification Email?

Yes. Select Resend Verification while the company email is pending verification.

What Happens If The Verification Link Expires?

The expired link can no longer be used. Select Resend Verification to send a new link.

Can I Change The Company Email?

Yes. Replace the value in Company Email and select Save. SIRE sends a new verification email to the updated address.
